Uffington White Horse is a pre-historic Bronze Age Hill figure that has been carved into the hillside of Oxfordshire. It measures around 110 metres long and is made of deep trenches of chalk. Recent excavations have placed the horse being made between 1740 and 210 BC. Studies have not been able to prove the reason why this figure was made.

Take Dragon Hill Rd and Broad Way to Woolstone Rd in Uffington 6 min (1.8 mi) Take Fernham Rd and A420 to Buckland Road. Turn left onto Buckland Road and after two miles, the Trout Inn will be on your right.

written by zoe tehrani June 23, 2022 This 10 mile circular walk takes you first to Dragon hill, and up to the Uffington White Horse. You will then join the Ridgeway to walk along to Wayland's Smithy and then further across the hills of North Wessex before circling back.
